About the Founders
The founding partners of HireAFishingGuide.com, Tom Lulinski and Matt Dahlgren, have been friends since they were in fourth grade. Tom and Matt always knew they would create a business together and have discussed many business ideas over the years. Although both have had success businesses, HireAFishingGuide.com is their first venture as a team.
Thomas P. Lulinski
Tom Lulinski is a passionate fisherman and lifelong entrepreneur. Tom hired employees for his first contracting company at age 14 and has been successfully self-employed for over 20 years. Through these years of business ownership, Tom has developed the management, marketing, and customer service skills that come with proprietary experience. Tom’s passion for fishing began as child and continues to grow. He constantly seeks to improve himself as an angler and an outdoor enthusiast. Tom is proud to share his fishing fervor with friends and family and works to introduce newcomers to sport-fishing. Tom lives in Wisconsin, where fishing is a cultural tradition, and is passing his fishing enthusiasm down to his two young kids.
J. Matthew Dahlgren
Matt Dahlgren is an experienced entrepreneur and investment management operations manger. Matt has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.A. in American Studies from Miami University. Matt’s first successful business was a Mail Boxes Etc./ The UPS Store franchise. After the sale of his store, Matt joined an operations team supporting the Senior Loan Group of Morgan Stanley Investment Management/ Van Kampen and was quickly promoted to Vice President, Operations Manager. Matt is passionate about the outdoors and spent his childhood fishing in south Florida. Matt also enjoys running, skiing, camping, and sharing his outdoor adventures with his young children.
