Average Rates For Fishing Guides And Charters
Although our fishing guide referral service is free for you to use, each fishing guide or charter boat captain sets their own prices. HireAFishingGuide.com has created a tool to help show what you should expect to pay. Choose a type of fishing and type in your location or use the mapping tools to zoom the view. Place a point near the location you would like to fish. The average cost for your selected type of fishing will be displayed below the map.
Average Rates
These averages are based on our members actual rates. Rates may differ depending on the number of people in your party and the time of the year. When you consider the cost of boat ownership, top notch equipment, gas, bait and insurance, their rates are quite reasonable.
Most fishing guides and charter boats require a deposit to save the date ranging from $100 up to half of the cost of the fishing trip. Tipping is not required but is customary and encouraged for exceptional service.
