This Privacy Policy may be referred to as “Privacy Policy” or “Policy.” Fishermen using HireAFishingGuide.com (the "Website"), any user viewing the Angler webpage, and clients of Guides are referred to as “Anglers.” Fishing guides, fishing charters, outfitters, and anyone using the Guide/ Charter webpage will be referred to as “Guides.”
Your Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, license, transfer, display, transmit, or give your Personal Information to any third party except as explained in this Privacy Policy. "Personal Information" is any information, data, or fact about you that belongs to you and identifies you as an individual. Such information includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, phone number, email address, age, and financial information.
Through use of our services you provide some forms of Personal Information to us. We may also collect Personal Information through online and email surveys. The collection and use of your Personal Information is necessary and required to use our services of matching, or striving to match, Anglers to Guides. Contact information is not submitted to both parties until a Guide accepts a "Lead" (information on a potential Angler who may be interested in hiring a Guide) by purchasing the full Lead details, which include the Angler’s contact information.
From time to time it may be necessary for us to contact Anglers and Guides to troubleshoot potential issues while providing our services. We are always striving to do better. The Company may send surveys to both Anglers and Guides to help us improve our Website and services. We also send short surveys to Anglers immediately following the anticipated guided trip date asking for feedback on the experience and the Guide.
Cookies and IP Addresses
The Company occasionally utilizes the services of third parties, including but not limited to website hosts and marketing consultants and providers of data analysis and search engine optimization. These companies would have contact with the IP address but not with your Personal Information.

We offer text notification of leads to Guides using our services. By providing your mobile number and selecting "Text Notification" you are opting in to receive text messages from us. We will only send text messages concerning Leads and to respond to questions. You may stop the text messaging of Lead notifications by logging into your account, selecting “Edit Profile,” and deselecting the "Text Messaging Notification" option under the "Lead Alert" section.
HireAFishingGuide.com only supports the following mobile carriers; Verizon WirelessTM, AT&TTM, Sprint NextelTM, T-Mobile®, TracFone Wireless®, U.S. Cellular®, MetroPCSTM, Virgin Mobile®, and Quest Wireless®. We cannot guarantee text message delivery, as coverage is dependent on your carrier and device. We do not charge for this service but you will be responsible for any charges that may be applied by your carrier.
Amendments
We may amend the Privacy Policy at any time without notice. Amendment dates will be posted at the bottom of this Policy. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically to check for updates.
The security of your information
Your Personal Information is kept in a secure server. After a transaction is processed we do not store your credit card information on our system. During a transaction credit card information is kept safe by encryption using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) software.

We may send you information about our Company or services, industry news or advice, and newsletters. We may also send promotional materials from our partners and affiliates.
